Engaging our culture is not DECIDUOUS?

I still think decisioning is manipulating the consciences of God's people.  Raise your hand if you are a sinner and want to be saved.  Who does, who doesn't  Softened, Hardened consciences?  Who says?
God is the great deciduous farmer who hardens and softens the consciences.
Are we dealing with the elements of our culture that add to the sealing of people's eternal destinies?

The servant of the Lord must be gentle toward all and apt to teach...What does that mean?

Sometimes David makes it look easy to deal with your enemies, then there is Psalm 109---more than imprecatory? God give grace to stand in mercy, when tried. Help, Lord!

He seemed to have such thick skin about such things In this Psalm 109, I imagine Shimei (2Sam 16) and the emotions that were in his heart not to defend himself at such a time of degradation. He had endured women singing his praises and now he was enduring a low public opinion poll, so to speak. I don't think we should wish such ill on our enemies, but sometimes we do. I am hurt, Lord! was the sentiment.
